Strengths.
Captain of KMCC and proud of it. Shed has had a topsy turvy past two years both in his personal life and his reign as captain. Never the less the resilience of the man is hard to equal.
Shedleys girlfriend kept him away from Kirkby at weekends last season so he missed nearly all the season. This broke up the long standing Screaming Hetro And Gargantuan Guzzling Entrepreneurs of Ripon Society (SHAGGERS for short) the membership of which was until lately a closely guarded secret. Those in the know (The STD clinc) claim that Shedley was the Chief High Wizard in the Cult,
although Big Jessie defends both his Hutchies and Sheds reputation by denying any knowledge of such a cults existance.
Weaknesses
Once described in the Ripon Gazette as the Flashing Blade Shedley's superb batting achievements of the early Nineties seem to have been more of a 'Flash -in- the Pan' . Lacks the confidence to apply his near perfect stroke-play. One good innings is what he needs to regain former glories.
Barmaids. Unconfirmed rumours (probably circulated by Big Jessie) suggest that Shed is back to his old ways! Apparently he has been sniffing around the Barmaid at the Golden Lion in Ripon for the past few weeks. This is almost a repeat performance of two seasons ago but this time he hasn't got a steady Girlfriend and a string of part time jumps to cloud his vision. Also the young lady in Question is good looking, not that the other one wasn't its just that one never quite got past staring at her Jugs!
Cigarettes and Alcohol
Shed is Tony Blairs cash machine. The tax he pays a week on the purchase of various tobaccos and fermented plant matter funds an entire wing of Harrogate hospital.
