KMCC crumble
It could have been oh so different - KMCC had won the toss inserted a weakened Dacre team and after a spirited opening by the opening batsmen the wookie had returned his KMCC best figures of 5-15 dismissed Dacre for the seemingly miserable 127.
All that was required was some application by a couple of batsmen but the constant clatter of wickets, an ordinary LBW decision and tight Dacre bowling restricted the previously rampant Kirkby batting to the pathetic total of 73 all out. Six points thrown away against top of the table opposition - however the result must not be dwelt upon it is the response that is all important. Will Galphay reap the whirlwind or expose the KMCC soft underbelly - all will be revealed shortly....
