KMCC vs Dacre Banks C.C.

Dacre employ sharp tactics in last ball smash and grab

What should have been a great match was marred by Dacre's sharp tactics as they literally stole victory from the last ball of the match. Earlier in the day KMCC had batted poorly and only managed the meagre total of 144 all out against a lively Dacre attack.

Dacre struggled throughout their innings and eventually ended up requiring what appeared to be 12 runs from the final over with one wicket in hand - a lucky six second ball enabled them finally to snatch 11 runs and apparently a tie(according to the presiding umpire) however the score displayed was actually incorrect and in fact only 11 were needed - a fact that was not lost on the Dacre pair at the crease... a match that should have been won was thrown away but in truth KMCC could and should have won this game very easily.
